Meeting at the SunExpress Airlines counter in front of the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport international departures terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Stuttgart on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 962 at 04:10. Upon arrival in Stuttgart at 06:15 local time, we proceed to Strasbourg with our vehicle waiting for us in the area. While exploring Strasbourg, one of France's most beautiful cities and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe's largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. With its fairy-tale-like nature and historical structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Additionally, Strasbourg holds historical importance as the place where the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was written, presenting itself as a city where French architecture blends with Alsace culture. During our city tour, places to be visited include Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace houses. After our tour, guests who wish may join an additional tour of the Majestic Fairy Tale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) for (100 Euro). We will want to take photos at every opportunity throughout our tour; the first place we will visit is Eguisheim. Awarded the title of "Favorite French Village" in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim's postcard view. After our tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historical buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through Colmar's streets that have been very well preserved until today, places to be visited include St. Martin Cathedral built entirely from pink stone, Petite Venice with its small canals reminiscent of Venice, Italy, Maison Pfister among Colmar's oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region as a medieval town in France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical texture. Especially the Château de Kaysersberg castle dating back to the 13th century is one of the town's most prominent symbols. The Sainte-Croix Church located in the center of the city stands out with its Gothic architecture. After our tour, we move to our final stop, Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting cities of Alsace, known for its numerous half-timbered houses that give the city its charm. This historic village enchants its visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and a medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. After visiting Baden Baden, a unique international travel route that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we head to Heidelberg, another magnificent city of Germany. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will take you on a journey through time while evoking the Middle Ages at every corner. Heidelberg, a quiet, stylish, and refined city, will welcome you with a harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle are among the places to visit. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. After the breakfast served at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Grand Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour for an additional fee (110 Euro). Our first stop is the natural wonder of the Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height. This place, embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the crystal-clear waters. After our enchanting walk with the power of water and impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors each year with its historic center, stunning Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After visiting Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peterskirche Church, home to Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping district. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city located in central Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of 800 Swiss soldiers who died protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we conclude our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
After breakfast, rooms are vacated and we depart for Basel. Upon our arrival in Basel, our city tour begins. Basel is a magnificent city that, despite its small area, holds many treasures within it, combining both modern and historical elements. It is the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including the Basel Cathedral, which houses the tomb of the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus from the Netherlands; Marktplatz, the city's main square; the Government Building; and Hotel Les Trois Roi. After our tour, we will proceed to the airport at the time specified by our guide. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Izmir on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ913 at 15:15. We will arrive at 19:10 local time, concluding our tour.
