Upon arrival at local time 13:00, our panoramic city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us in the area. Barcelona, Spain's second largest city and the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region, is a world-renowned city. Washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers an unique blend of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudi's unique works. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be visited include La Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Statue, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Square, Andalusia Arena, and Olympic Port. After our tour, guests who wish can join the extra scheduled Grand Poble Espanyol & Montjuic Hill tour. (30 Euro) We begin our tour by visiting Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), which was built for the 1929 World Fair and has become a destination for visitors to Barcelona today, consisting of 117 buildings, streets and squares. Here you will see examples of structures from all regions of Spain, walk through streets reflecting the architecture of different regions of Spain, visit fascinating craft workshops, and take a short journey through all of Spain. Poble Espanyol also hosts craftsmen working in ceramics, glass, leather, jewelry and other craft areas. Then we ascend to Montjuic Hill, which offers much more than just a panoramic view of Barcelona. This area, where history, culture and nature converge, has undergone transformation by hosting important events such as the 1992 Olympic Games. After our photo break, transfer to our hotel. Our first stop is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be visited. After our tour, we head towards the city of Figueres. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established a museum here to leave something behind in the place where he was born and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dalí's works, and since Dalí designed every part of it, it is referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece. The museum contains over 4,000 works created by Dalí using various techniques. Next, we move on to Park Güell. One of Antoni Gaudí's magnificent works, Park Güell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the fairy tale park, this park creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful staircases and imaginary pavilions. After seeing Gaudí's magnificent work, our final stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its narrow and labyrinthine medieval streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, while admiring the historic fabric. Among the most important structures in the quarter are the Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, transfer back to our hotel. Valencia is a historic and modern city located on Spain's eastern coast, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. As Spain's third-largest city, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. Upon our arrival, during the city tour, we will visit the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Historic Mercado Central Market, and the Old Silk Exchange. After our tour, we will be transferred to our hotel, check into our rooms, and have free time. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Granada. Upon our arrival in Granada, our city tour begins. Granada is a city full of history and culture located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations and welcomes millions of visitors each year. During our city tour here, places to be seen include Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Madraza (Granada's first university), Silk Market, and the old Nasri Caravanserai. After our tour, guests who wish can join the Extra Grand Alhambra Palace Tour. (80 Euro) (There is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, and our palace visit may be conducted excluding the harem depending on availability. One of Granada's greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace, is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. As one of the most visited historical sites in Spain, the Alhambra is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has gained worldwide fame. This famous monument was begun to be built as a defensive fortress and palace in the 13th century on a plateau atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, with construction continuing until the 15th century. Due to the red earth used in its construction, it took on a reddish color and was named Alhambra, meaning "Red". After our tour, transfer to our hotel. After the tour here, we will watch a Gypsy show and their lifestyle while enjoying a drink in completely hand-carved caves. After the tour, return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we head to Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third largest cathedral in the world, where Christopher Columbus's tomb is located; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque from which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the palace of the Castilian kings. Later, passing through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, we will reach the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), which served as the main campus of the University of Seville, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum, we will transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may additionally join the Spectacular Flamenco Fire Tour (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is renowned for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. (140 Euro) Cordoba is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. We will reach Cordoba via a 1.5-hour journey, where we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. Crossing the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate, we will enter the city. The most magnificent structure of this 2,000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Entering it, accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving impressive information. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, seeing the pristine old streets, the old inn reflecting all the delicacies of Andalusian architecture, and the houses of Cordoba. After the tour here, our second stop is Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the Málaga province of the Andalusia region in southern Spain, famous especially for its white-washed houses. Located near the coast of Costa del Sol, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and its historical texture. Mijas Pueblo, that is, the historic part of the town, offers a postcard-like image with its narrow streets typical of Andalusian architecture, balconies decorated with flowers, and white-washed houses. Although the origins of the town date back to Ancient Rome and even the Phoenicians, its current texture has largely been shaped during the Muslim period of Andalusia. One of the most striking points of Mijas is the small bullfighting arena built on top of the town and the ruins of Mijas Castle. After our tour, our final stop is Malaga. Known for its magnificent architecture and cultural heritage dating back to the Middle Ages, during our tour in this open-air museum city, we will see its historic narrow streets, the Cathedral of Toledo (exterior view), churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and countless other wonders. After our tour, we head to Madrid. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is among the most visited cities in Spain due to its deep history and cultural richness. During our city tour here, we will visit the Bullfighting Arena (exterior view), Puerta de Alcalá and Plaza de la Independencia, the Cibeles Monument, the famous Grand Via street, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the famous Prado Museum (exterior view), Plaza de Espana with statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Royal Palace (exterior view), the nine-gated Plaza Mayor, and Sol Square. After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the airport at the time specified by the guide. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, AJet Airlines flight VF606 departs for Ankara at 17:05. Arrival at 22:35 local time marks the end of our tour.
