Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established a museum here to leave something behind in the place where he was born and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dalí's works, and since Dalí designed every part of it, it is referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece. The museum contains over 4,000 works created by Dalí using various techniques. Next, we move on to Park Güell. One of Antoni Gaudí's magnificent works, Park Güell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the fairy tale park, this park creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful staircases and imaginary pavilions. After seeing Gaudí's magnificent work, our final stop is the Gothic Quarter. Seville is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third largest cathedral in the world, where Christopher Columbus's tomb is located; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque from which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the palace of the Castilian kings. Later, passing through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, we will reach the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), which served as the main campus of the University of Seville, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum, we will transfer back to our hotel. The most magnificent structure of this 2,000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Entering it, accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving impressive information. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, seeing the pristine old streets, the old inn reflecting all the delicacies of Andalusian architecture, and the houses of Cordoba.
