DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – BARCELONA
Meeting at 05:00 AM in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, followed by departure to Barcelona on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853 at 08:00. Upon arrival in Barcelona at local time 10:45, transfer to the port where our ship Costa Smeralda will depart. After check-in and passport procedures, we settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 02 IBIZA
Our ship will dock at Ibiza port at 12:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can take information from our guide, swim in the magnificent beaches of Ibiza, go shopping, and have a meal. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 03 AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship offers many alternatives. Those who wish can enjoy the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Others can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment offered in dozens of bars. Various dining options are also waiting for you throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 04 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the "Palermo & Cefalu Tour" organized additionally by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, the town is a place both for shopping and to fully experience the spirit of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during the tour are the Norman-era cathedral and the ancient laundry. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a tour introducing the city. Then we visit the Monreale Monastery. We see the mosaic decorations depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments, covering a total area of 6340 m². Afterwards, we return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 05 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. After breakfast, there is free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the "Rome City Tour" organized additionally by our guide. During this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey by bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic tour by bus. Places to see include; Castel Sant'Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Theatre of Marcello, Circo Massimo, Forum areas. Afterwards, we explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Among the places to see are; Pantheon Square, Navona Square, Fountain of Love, and Spanish Steps, ending our tour with a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 06 SAVONA – GENOA - PORTOFINO
Our ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the "Genoa - Portofino Tour" organized additionally by our guides. Departing from our port Savona by bus, we arrive at the neighboring port city Genoa, which was once the capital of an important maritime kingdom that ruled over the Mediterranean region, including Istanbul. Important points we will see include San Lorenzo Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, and Christopher Columbus's house. In the second part, we go to Portofino, located 1 hour away from Genoa, a town featured in songs and loved by lovers. After the free time given in this peaceful seaside town, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 07 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can depart for the "Marseille City Tour & Aix en Provence Tour" organized additionally by our guides. Starting our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, we will first visit the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. Following this visit, Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area are among the places to be seen. Then we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous St. Saviour's Cathedral dating back to the 12th century, with its Romanesque front facade and covered arched way. Later, during our pleasant walk in the old district of the city, you will see the antique inns located here and the Mazarino quarter designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 08 BARCELONA – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and transfer to the airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. After passport and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1856 at 13:35. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at local time 19:15. End of our tour.
