Meeting at 05:00 AM in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, followed by departure to Barcelona on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853 at 08:00. Upon arrival in Barcelona at local time 10:45, transfer to the port where our ship Costa Smeralda will depart. After check-in and passport procedures, we settle into our cabins and have free time. Among the places we will visit during the tour are the Norman-era cathedral and the ancient laundry. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a tour introducing the city. Then we visit the Monreale Monastery. We see the mosaic decorations depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments, covering a total area of 6340 m². Afterwards, we return to the ship. During this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey by bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic tour by bus. Places to see include; Castel Sant'Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Theatre of Marcello, Circo Massimo, Forum areas. Afterwards, we explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Among the places to see are; Pantheon Square, Navona Square, Fountain of Love, and Spanish Steps, ending our tour with a shopping break. Departing from our port Savona by bus, we arrive at the neighboring port city Genoa, which was once the capital of an important maritime kingdom that ruled over the Mediterranean region, including Istanbul. Important points we will see include San Lorenzo Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, and Christopher Columbus's house. In the second part, we go to Portofino, located 1 hour away from Genoa, a town featured in songs and loved by lovers. After the free time given in this peaceful seaside town, we return to our ship. Guests who wish can depart for the "Marseille City Tour & Aix en Provence Tour" organized additionally by our guides. Starting our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, we will first visit the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. Following this visit, Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area are among the places to be seen. Then we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous St. Saviour's Cathedral dating back to the 12th century, with its Romanesque front facade and covered arched way. Later, during our pleasant walk in the old district of the city, you will see the antique inns located here and the Mazarino quarter designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino in the 17th century. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and transfer to the airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port.
