Magnificent Crete Island – Aegean Airlines Scheduled Flight On July 15 Departure
Meet at the Aegean Airlines counter in front of the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage and ticket procedures, depart for Crete on Aegean Airlines flight A3435 at 16:00. Upon arrival in Crete at 17:30 local time, our tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. According to legends, Crete, the birthplace of Zeus, carries traces of many civilizations deep in history. On this historic island stretching from the Minoan civilization to the Ottoman Empire, places to visit include Plateia Elefterias (Freedom Square), Agios Titos Church, Rasih Bey Mansion, Ayos Minas Cathedral, the Ottoman Bon Marche Building, Valide Sultan Camii Fountain, Evkaf Building, Morosini Fountain, Ottoman Barracks, Venetian Loggias, Venetian Port and shipyards. After the city tour, transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the extra organized Grand Towns (Spinalonga & Elounda & Agios Nikolaos) tour for 90 Euro. Our first stop on this tour is Spinalonga. We will reach Spinalonga by a short boat ride from Plaka port town and explore the island's historical structure, seeing traces from the old colonial period. After enjoying the unique views, our second stop is the port town of Elounda. Elounda is a coastal town known for its luxury resorts, stylish restaurants, and beautiful beaches on Crete. After the break we take here, our final stop on the tour is Agios Nikolaos. Located on the eastern coast of Crete, Agios Nikolaos is one of Crete's popular tourist destinations. Known for its beautiful beaches, historical heritage, and natural beauty in the surrounding area, the city's name comes from Saint Nicholas, who is considered the city's patron saint. After the tour, transfer back to our hotel.

Guests who wish can join the extra organized tour "Magnificent Villages and Cities (Fodele Village & Rethymno (Resmo) & Chania (Hanya))" for 90 Euro. Fodele, the birthplace of one of Crete's most famous painters, El Greco, is a popular tourist destination known for its natural beauty, history, and cultural significance. The village is renowned for its traditional houses with typical Cretan architecture, narrow streets, and squares. After our tour, our second stop is Rethymno (Resmo). As the third largest city on the island of Crete and one of its major tourist centers, Rethymno (Resmo) boasts a rich historical and cultural past. The historic fabric of Rethymno dates back to the Venetian period, and many architectural works from both the Venetian and Ottoman eras can be seen in the city. One of the most famous symbols of Rethymno is the Venetian Rethymno Fortress. Located right next to the city center by the seaside, the fortress is a historic site and a popular spot for both history enthusiasts and photography lovers. Rethymno's narrow, cobblestone streets, traditional houses, and inns in the old town area create a historic atmosphere. Additionally, Rethymno is famous for its beautiful beaches. Particularly, coastal areas such as Platanias, Bali, and Georgioupolis located to the south are popular destinations where tourists can enjoy the sea and sun. After our tour, our final stop is Chania (Hanya). Located in the western part of Crete and one of the island's most important port cities, Chania is renowned for both its historic character and natural beauty. Also known as Hanya, Chania stands out as one of the most beautiful and frequently visited places in Crete. The Venetian Harbor is one of the city's iconic landmarks and is surrounded by numerous historic structures. Among these are the Venetian Lighthouse, the Venetian Archaeological Museum, and the Maritime Museum of Crete. Its narrow, cobblestone streets and traditional Greek houses also attract visitors. After this pleasant time spent here, we will transfer back to our hotel.
After the breakfast served at the hotel, free time will be available. Guests who wish can join an extra organized tour to Knossos – Archanes Village. (90 Euro) Knossos is an ancient archaeological site located on the island of Crete and one of the most important centers of the Minoan civilization. During our tour here, we will visit the Palace of Knossos, built in 2000 BC and the capital of the Kingdom of Minos, and then see the palace, which is believed to be a legendary labyrinth and contains many rooms. After our tour, we will head to Archanes village, known for its traditional stone houses, narrow streets, and olive groves, located near Knossos. After the walking tour here, we will transfer back to our hotel.
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide. After baggage and ticket procedures, departure with Aegean Airlines flight A3434 at 15:45 to Istanbul Airport. Arrival at 17:10 local time and end of our tour.
