We meet at Ankara Esenboğa Airport’s international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After completing the baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we proceed to our private buses waiting for us following our Bergamo flight, operated as a scheduled Corendon Airlines service, and depart for Milan. Milan is a dynamic city in northern Italy and a center of fashion, design and business. Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is one of Milan’s most iconic landmarks and a perfect example of Gothic architecture. This cathedral is the fifth-largest church in the world and one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The exterior of the cathedral is made of white marble and decorated with detailed carvings. Its façade features countless statues and carvings. The most striking statue is the golden Madonnina statue at the very top of the cathedral. This statue is considered the city’s patron saint. Right next to the Duomo is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This magnificent shopping gallery is famous for its glass roof and mosaic floors. Here, you can find luxury brand stores, elegant cafés and restaurants. The gallery has four main entrances, but the most famous one is the entrance from Piazza del Duomo. As you enter from here, its striking architecture immediately catches your attention; it is a perfect combination of modern engineering and traditional art. During our tour, the places to be seen include the Milan Duomo, Italy’s second-largest church, which took approximately 500 years to complete, Sforza Castle, and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, home to the world’s most famous fashion stores. We will then see the world-famous Lake Como, situated at the foothills of the Alps. Como is a city located in Italy’s Lombardy region, bordering Switzerland. The lake bearing the same name is also located between Switzerland and Italy. Situated at the foothills of the Alps on the Swiss side, the lake is known as a summer destination for celebrities and the jet set. The breathtaking view of the lake will enchant you. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan and free time to rest.
