Meet 3 hours before departure at the Turkish Airlines counter in the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Seville on Turkish Airlines flight TK1297 at 06:55. Upon arrival at 10:45 local time, our Seville city tour begins. Seville is a historic and culturally rich city located in Andalusia, Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Tomb of Christopher Columbus and the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third largest cathedral in the world; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque upon which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia. This famous monument began construction in the 13th century on a plateau atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, serving as both a fortress and a palace, with construction continuing until the 15th century. Due to the red clay used in its construction, it acquired a reddish hue and was named Alhambra, meaning "The Red One". After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Here, you will see representative structures from all regions of Spain, walk through streets reflecting the architecture of different parts of Spain, explore fascinating craft workshops, and take a short journey across all of Spain. Poble Espanyol also hosts artisans working in ceramics, glass, leather, jewelry, and other craft fields. Then, we ascend to Montjuic Hill, which offers much more than just panoramic views of Barcelona. This area, where history, culture, and nature converge, has undergone transformation by hosting major events such as the 1992 Olympic Games. After our photo stop, we transfer to our hotel. We will reach Cordoba via a 1.5-hour journey, where we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. Walking across the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate, we will enter the city. The most magnificent structure of this 2,000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Entering it, accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving impressive information. After our tour inside the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, seeing the pristine old streets, the old inn reflecting all the delicacies of Andalusian architecture, and the houses of Cordoba. Following the tour here, our second stop is Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the southern part of Spain, in the Málaga province of the Andalusia region, especially famous for its white-washed houses. Located near the coast of Costa del Sol, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and its historical texture.
