Washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers an unique combination of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudi's unique works. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be visited include La Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Statue, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Square, Andalusia Arena, and Olympic Port. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast served at the hotel, guests who wish may join an optional tour: The Pearls of Grand Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) for 70 Euro. Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Located in northeastern Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and city walls. Highlights of our tour here include the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). Afterward, we head to the town of Figueres. Situated northeast of Girona, Figueres is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the renowned Spanish painter. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established this museum to leave something behind in his hometown and to exhibit his works. Today, it houses the largest collection of Dalí’s art, and since he designed every part of the building, it is often referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece. The museum contains over 4,000 works created by Dalí using various techniques. After the tour, we return to Barcelona. Guests who wish may also join an optional tour: Gaudi's Grand Masterpiece (Park Güell) & Gothic Quarter for 50 Euro. Our first stop on this tour is Park Güell. One of Antoni Gaudí's magnificent works, Park Güell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the fairy-tale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful staircases and whimsical pavilions. After admiring Gaudí's masterpiece, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting medieval atmosphere through its narrow, labyrinthine streets dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, while marveling at its historic fabric. Among the most important structures in the neighborhood are the Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Valencia. As Spain's third-largest city, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations and hosts millions of visitors each year. During our city tour here, places to be visited include Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Madraza (Granada's first university), Silk Market, and the old Nasri Caravanserai. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Extra Grand Alhambra Palace Tour. (80 Euro) (There is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, and our visit to the palace may be conducted excluding the harem depending on availability. We kindly request that you inform your travel agent about your participation status in this tour during reservation.) One of Granada's greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace, is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. As one of the most visited historical sites in Spain, the Alhambra is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has gained worldwide fame. This famous monument was begun in the 13th century as a defensive fortress and palace on a plateau atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, with construction continuing until the 15th century. Due to the red earth used in its construction, it took on a reddish color and was named Alhambra, meaning "Red". Guests who wish may also join our Extra Grand Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter) tour after our tour. (60 Euro) Albaicin is a historic and enchanting neighborhood of Granada. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this area is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects Granada's history. After the tour here, we will watch the Gypsy show and their lifestyle while enjoying a drink in fully hand-carved caves. After our tour, return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third largest cathedral in the world, where Christopher Columbus's tomb is located; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque upon which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the former palace of the Castilian kings. Later, passing through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, we will reach the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after viewing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower)—which served as the main campus of the University of Seville, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum—we will transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may optionally join the spectacular Flamenco Fire Tour (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is renowned for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. We will reach Cordoba with a 1.5-hour journey, where first the Guadalquivir River will welcome us. We will enter the city by walking over the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate. In this 2000-year-old city, our first stop will be the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving fascinating information. After our tour inside the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, exploring the pristine old streets and seeing the ancient caravanserai and houses of Cordoba that reflect all the delicacies of Andalusian architecture. After the tour here, our second stop will be Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the province of Málaga in the southern part of Andalusia, Spain, famous especially for its whitewashed houses. Situated near the coast of Costa del Sol, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and its historic character. Mijas Pueblo, the historic part of the town, offers a postcard-like image with its narrow streets typical of Andalusian architecture, balconies decorated with flowers, and whitewashed houses. Although the town's origins date back to Ancient Rome and even the Phoenicians, its current character was largely shaped during the Muslim period of Andalusia. One of the most striking points of Mijas is the small bullfighting arena built on the town's hill and the ruins of Mijas Castle. After our tour, our final stop will be Malaga. On our Malaga tour, we will visit places such as Paseo de Parque (Park Avenue), Plaza de la Merced, the Jewish Quarter, Constitution Square, Larios Avenue, Puerto Marina (Harbor), La Alcazaba, and Gibralfaro Castle—the city where the famous painter Pablo Picasso was born.
