After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Barcelona at 09:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. Upon our arrival at 10:45 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us in the area. Barcelona, Spain's second-largest city and the vibrant and enchanting capital of Catalonia, is a world-renowned city. Washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers an unique blend of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudí's unique works. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be visited include La Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Statue, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Square, Andalusia Arena, and Olympic Port. After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour "Pearls of Grand Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum)" for an additional fee. Girona is a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. On our tour here, we will visit the Lion Statue, the Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After the tour, we head towards the city of Figueres. Figueres is located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established a museum here to leave something behind in his birthplace and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dalí's works, and since he designed every part of it, it is referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece. Inside the museum, there are over 4,000 works created by Dalí using various techniques. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. After the breakfast served at the hotel, guests who wish may join the additional tour titled "Gaudi's Magnificent Work: Park Guell & Gothic Quarter" (60 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi's magnificent works, Park Guell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as a fairy-tale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful staircases and dreamlike pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting medieval atmosphere with its narrow labyrinthine streets dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, admiring the historic fabric. Among the most important buildings in the quarter are the Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the additional "Magnificent Sitges Tour" (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. Famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and vibrant atmosphere, it is also known for its art and cultural events, hosting numerous art galleries, museums, and festivals. Our visit begins with the magical stairs of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral, and we will lose ourselves in its historic streets. Built upon the remains of an old Romanesque and Gothic church, this cathedral dates back to the 17th century. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey takes us through the historic streets of Sitges, where the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the rare examples of Modernism remaining in the medieval city center, is an absolute paradise for collectors. Right opposite, we will visit the Cau Ferrat Museum, which was the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in Catalonia. He played a major role in making the town so well-known by starting to exhibit his paintings here in Sitges. After walking through the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, attended by thousands of people every year and featuring horror and fantasy film categories, is celebrated, and seeing the colorful houses and charming bars, we will head towards the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast served at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure with Turkish Airlines flight TK1854 at 12:10 to Istanbul Airport. Arrival at 17:45 local time and end of our tour.
