Meeting at the SunExpress Airlines counter in front of the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Barcelona on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ894 at 11:35. Upon arrival at 13:15 local time, we proceed to Valencia with our vehicle waiting for us in the area. With our arrival, our city tour begins. Valencia is a historical and modern city located on the eastern coast of Spain, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. As the third largest city in Spain, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture and art. During our city tour upon arrival, the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Museum of Arts and Sciences, Historical Market Mercado Central and the Old Silk Exchange will be among the places to visit. After our tour, transfer to our hotel, check-in to rooms and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Granada. Granada is a city full of history and culture located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations and hosts millions of visitors each year. During our city tour here, places to be seen include Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Madraza (Granada's first university), Silk Market, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After our tour, guests who wish can join the Extra Grand Alhambra Palace Tour. One of Granada's greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace, is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. As one of the most visited historical sites in Spain, the Alhambra is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has gained worldwide fame. This famous monument was begun in the 13th century as a defensive fortress and palace on a plateau atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, and construction continued until the 15th century. Due to the red earth used in its construction, it took on a reddish hue and was named Alhambra, meaning "The Red". After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we head to Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third largest cathedral in the world, where Christopher Columbus's tomb is located; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque from which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the palace of the Castilian kings. Later, passing through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, we will reach the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), which served as the main campus of the University of Seville, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum, we will transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may additionally join the Spectacular Flamenco Fire Tour (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is renowned for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. (140 Euro) Cordoba is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. We will reach Cordoba via a 1.5-hour journey, where we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. Crossing the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate, we will enter the city. The most magnificent structure of this 2,000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Entering it, accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving impressive information. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, seeing the pristine old streets, the old inn reflecting all the delicacies of Andalusian architecture, and the houses of Cordoba. After the tour here, our second stop is Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the Málaga province of the Andalusia region in southern Spain, famous especially for its white-washed houses. Located near the coast of Costa del Sol, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and its historical texture. Mijas Pueblo, that is, the historic part of the town, offers a postcard-like image with its narrow streets typical of Andalusian architecture, balconies decorated with flowers, and white-washed houses. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudi's unique works. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be visited include La Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Statue, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Square, Andalusia Arena, and Olympic Port. After our tour, guests who wish can join the extra organized Grand Poble Espanyol & Montjuic Hill tour. (30 Euro) We begin our tour by visiting Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), which was built for the 1929 World Fair and has now become a popular destination for visitors to Barcelona. Here, you will see examples of structures from all regions of Spain, walk through streets reflecting the architecture of different parts of Spain, visit fascinating craft workshops, and take a short journey across all of Spain. Poble Espanyol also hosts artisans working in ceramics, glass, leather, jewelry, and other craft fields. Then, we ascend to Montjuic Hill, which offers much more than just panoramic views of Barcelona. This area, where history, culture, and nature converge, has undergone transformation by hosting major events such as the 1992 Olympic Games. After our photo break, we transfer to our hotel. (70 Euro) Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. On our tour here, the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to visit. After our tour, we head towards the city of Figueres. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something behind in his birthplace and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dali's works and is referred to as Dali's greatest masterpiece because he designed every part of it. Inside the museum, there are over 4,000 works created by Dali using various techniques. After our tour, we return to Barcelona. After seeing Gaudi's magnificent work, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages through its narrow and labyrinthine medieval streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, while admiring the historic fabric. Among the most important structures in the quarter are the Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we depart for the airport at the time determined by the guide. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 895 departs for Izmir at 14:15. Arrival in Izmir at 19:25 local time and the end of our tour.
