ISTANBUL – CASABLANCA
We meet three hours before our flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage, passport, and boarding procedures, we fly with Turkish Airlines' scheduled service to Casablanca, one of the important cities on Morocco's Atlantic coast. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour with Casablanca's Symbols: Mohammed V Square, Hassan II Mosque, and Corniche. Recognized as Morocco's economic and commercial capital, Casablanca is known not only for its modern architecture and location on the Atlantic coast but also for its special place in cinema history. The film Casablanca, which focuses on World War II years and stars Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, has made a significant contribution to the city's global recognition. During our city tour, places to visit include Mohammed V Square, an important symbol from Morocco's independence era; Hassan II Mosque, one of the city's most magnificent structures; Anfa and Zerktouni Boulevards, major streets of modern Casablanca; and the Corniche stretching along the Atlantic Ocean. Inspired by the venue associated with the film Casablanca, Rick's Café will be seen panoramically. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel and use our free time to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
CASABLANCA – RABAT – TANGIER
After breakfast, we head towards Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to explore its historical treasures: Kasbah Oudaya, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean along the Bou Regreg River, Rabat is not only the political and administrative center of Morocco but also stands out for its historic character. During our city tour, we will visit key sites including the Kasbah Oudaya, which surrounds the old town; the iconic Hassan Tower; and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a prominent member of the Moroccan royal family. We will discover the unique atmosphere where Rabat’s modern and traditional fabrics coexist, bearing traces of various civilizations throughout history. After our tours, we move north to Tangier, one of Morocco’s important Mediterranean port cities. Upon arrival, we explore the historic center of Tangier, known as the Tangier Medina. Next, we visit the tomb of Ibn Battuta, one of Morocco’s most renowned travelers who journeyed across many parts of the world in the 14th century. Following our excursions, we transfer to our hotel and spend the rest of the day resting. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
TANJA – SHEFCHAVEN – FEZ
After breakfast, we depart for our journey from the Blue Streets of Shefchaven to the Historic Medina of Fez. Shefchaven, one of Morocco's most characteristic cities, is nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains and is known for its white and blue-toned houses, narrow streets, and traditional architecture, making it one of Morocco's most photogenic settlements. During our walk through the city's historic medina, we explore its vividly blue-walled streets, small squares, and traditional Moroccan architecture. After the visit, guests who wish will have free time for lunch and shopping. Following our tour of Shefchaven, we head toward Fez. Upon arrival, we first view the impressive example of Moroccan royal architecture, Bab-el-Makhzen gate, then take a walk through the historic Jewish quarter, the Mellah district. Next, we explore Fez's UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic medina. Wandering through its narrow, labyrinthine streets, we visit Al Quaraouiyine University, historic madrasas, Nejjarine Square, markets showcasing traditional jewelry and copperwork, and handmade ceramic workshops. The historic tanneries along the Fez River, where leather processing continues using traditional methods, are also notable stops on our city tour. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – SAHARA DESERT
After breakfast, we begin our journey from the Atlas Mountains to the Golden Sultanate of the Sahara: exploring the diverse geographical faces of Morocco via Ifrane and Midelt. We head toward the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Ifrane. Known for its high altitude above sea level, Ifrane has a unique atmosphere within Morocco due to its architecture reminiscent of European cities and its facilities used as a ski resort during winter months. We spend some free time in the city. Then, continuing our journey, we reach the town of Midelt, one of the important transit points of the Atlas Mountains. Here, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we proceed toward the Golden Sands of the Sahara Desert. After our journey with gradually changing landscapes, we arrive at our accommodation or camp in the desert region and settle into our rooms. Watching the sunset from atop the sand dunes will be one of the most impressive experiences of the Sahara. Later in the day, we have the opportunity to gaze at the stars under the desert sky, far from city lights. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
SAHARA DESERT – FILM STUDIOS – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we depart from the Sahara and follow in the footsteps of cinema through Todra Valley, M'Gouna, and Ait Benhaddou, heading toward Ouarzazate, one of Morocco's cities most closely associated with its film industry. Along our journey via Tinghir, breathtaking desert landscapes will accompany us alongside the striking silhouettes of the Atlas Mountains. On the way, we pass through regions that showcase Morocco's natural beauty, including Todra Valley and areas featuring traditional water channels. We also visit M'Gouna, known as the "City of Roses" especially during spring months due to the rose fields surrounding it. Next, we visit Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco's most impressive earthen settlements. This fortified village, which developed along historic caravan routes, has reached us today as one of the finest examples of traditional Moroccan architecture. It is also internationally renowned for hosting numerous film and television productions. Recognized for its appearances in films such as Gladiator, Babylon, The Mummy, Alexander, and Game of Thrones, this region will make us feel as though we are stepping onto a movie set during our visit. Afterwards, we view the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate, one of the key centers of Moroccan cinema, from a panoramic perspective. Thanks to its natural surroundings and favorable lighting conditions year-round, the city has long been a preferred location for international film productions. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Ouarzazate, which has hosted many famous artists and directors. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we head towards Marrakech, one of Morocco's most famous cities, crossing the Atlas Mountains to explore Marrakech's Colorful World: the Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa el-Fna Square, and the Majorelle Gardens. For centuries, Marrakech has been a key stop on trade routes and a city where art, architecture, and culture have converged. Since the early 20th century, it has become an inspiring center for European artists, designers, musicians, and travelers. During our city tour, we visit the Koutoubia Mosque, one of Marrakech's most important symbols. Then, we enjoy free time at Jemaa el-Fna Square, considered the heart of the city, which takes on a completely different atmosphere at different times of day. Next, we visit the Majorelle Gardens, one of Marrakech's most famous gardens. Created by French painter Jacques Majorelle, the gardens were later restored by the renowned fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent to their current appearance. With its exotic plants and distinctive architecture, the garden is one of Marrakech's most special stops. Our tour continues with the city's historic Medina (old town). Within the traditional urban fabric dating back to the Middle Ages, we learn about argan oil, spices, and local products, and we have free time for shopping in the colorful souks. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we set off for Essaouira, the Pearl of the Atlantic: a historic port city on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, featuring the Mellah Jewish Quarter, the Portuguese Fortress, and the Fishing Port. As we depart from Marrakech, we pass along the route seeing Morocco's iconic argan trees as we head toward the Atlantic coast. Throughout history, Essaouira has been influenced by various civilizations; its unique architecture, artistic atmosphere, and location on the oceanfront distinguish it from other Moroccan cities. During our walking tour in the historic city center, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will visit the old Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the Portuguese Fortress, and the fishing port known for its blue fishing boats. With its narrow streets and urban layout intersecting at right angles, Essaouira offers an atmosphere different from other Moroccan medinas. We explore the city alongside its historic ramparts and views of the Atlantic. Essaouira has also attracted the attention of the film industry. Various international productions, including Orson Welles' Othello, have used the city and its surroundings. After the excursion, we depart for the return to Marrakech. Transfer to the hotel and free time to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
