We set off for Freiburg, one of the most important examples of green urbanism. In our city tour of Freiburg, the city of happy people, where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed since 2010 and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, it is possible to see traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, under whose protection the city has been throughout history. In our city tour of Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, charming streets with small water channels unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Tor, the city’s medieval gate, and Rathausplatz are among the places to be seen. After the Freiburg tour, we head to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room check-in and free time to rest.
