Day 1 Istanbul – Belgrade
Meeting at the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 4 hours before our flight. Departure to Belgrade at 14:35 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1079. After a comfortable flight, arrival at 14:25 and, following the entry procedures, our Belgrade city tour begins by private bus in Serbia`s capital, one of Europe’s oldest cities and the new symbol of vitality and activity. The Old Palace, adorned with magnificent carved ceilings from the Turkish period, the Millennium Monument, Belgrade Fortress, one of the Ottoman navy’s supply centers at the point where the Sava River joins the Danube, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded in pursuit of its conquest, which was ultimately achieved by Suleiman the Magnificent, Kale Square, Taş Square, the Military Museum, the mausoleum of Martyr Ali Pasha, and the Bayraklı Mosque are among the places to be seen. After the tour, overnight at our hotel in Belgrade.
Day 2 Belgrade
After breakfast, our guests who wish to spend the entire day at leisure may join the Zemun & Avala Tower & Tito’s Tomb & Tesla Museum Tour. At the end of our tour, we return to Belgrade. Overnight at our hotel in Belgrade.
Optional Tour: Zemun & Avala Tower & Tito’s Tomb & Tesla Museum: 80 Euros
Our guests who wish may join our additionally organized tour of Zemun, Avala Tower, and Tito`s tomb. On this tour, we first go to Zemun. In Zemun, we will see mansions from the Austro-Hungarian period, the bazaar, the tavern street, the old theater, and Zemun Park. Then we go to Avala Tower, designed by architects Ugljesa Bogunovic and Slobodan Janjic. After visiting the tower, which was bombed by NATO in 1999 and reopened in 2010, we will visit the mausoleum of Marshal Tito, of Croatian origin and founder of the 2nd Yugoslavia. Tito was elected President of Yugoslavia on January 13, 1953, and transformed Yugoslavia into a Socialist Federal Republic. He was appointed president for life in 1974 and died in 1980. After visiting Tito`s tomb, we will visit the Tesla Museum. Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-American inventor, physicist, and electrophysics expert, pioneered many used and unused experiments and inventions that could fundamentally change the structure of science and technology in the world. In particular, his invention of wireless electricity transmission and his proof of it demonstrate what a unique inventor he was. We are sure you will be fascinated by this museum.
Day 3 Belgrade
After breakfast, our guests who wish to spend the entire day at leisure may join the Novi Sad & Sremski Karlovci Tour. At the end of our tour, we return to Belgrade. Overnight at our hotel in Belgrade.
Optional Tour: Novi Sad & Sremski Karlovci Tour: 65 Euros
For this tour, we set off in our private vehicle in the morning to go to Novi Sad. Our first stop is Sremski Karlovci. In this beautiful town, the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed in 1699, after negotiations lasting 72 days, between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary, Venice, and Poland. During our visit, we will see the four-gated venue where the treaty was signed, as well as the square, the Fountain of Four Lions, the historic high school, and the Orthodox and Catholic churches. After a coffee break, we continue our journey. Along the way, at Petrovaradin Fortress, we will see the Belgrade Gate, the clock tower, the upper town, the Long Barracks, and the Leopold Gate. Then we arrive in Novi Sad. Vojvodina is a multi-ethnic province in northern Serbia. It is the most economically developed region of Serbia, and its capital is Novi Sad. During our walking tour here, Freedom Square, the National Theatre, Danube Street and the riverfront, the Svetozar Miletić Monument, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint George, St. Nicholas Church, and the Synagogue are among the places to be seen panoramically.
Day 4 Belgrade - Istanbul
After breakfast, free time after vacating the rooms. Following the free time, transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticketing, and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul Airport at 15:15 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1084. Arrival at 19:05 and the end of our tour. We hope to see you again on our next organization..
