## Tour Detail

DAY 01: SABIHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT – HURGHADA – LUXOR

Meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal at 21:00 (meeting will take place on the night of Sunday, January 24). After completing check-in procedures, we depart via Pegasus Airlines flight PC624 at 01:20 to Hurghada. Local time arrival in Hurghada at 03:00. Upon arrival, we will transfer by private vehicle waiting for us at the airport to a restaurant for breakfast to start the day refreshed. After having breakfast at this local restaurant, we depart from Hurghada to board our ship in Luxor. After check-in procedures, we disembark from the ship to visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. After touring Karnak Temple, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the widest ancient structure ever built in the world, we transfer back to the ship for lunch. Following lunch, we will visit Luxor Temple in Luxor, where the world's largest open-air museum is located. This temple was commissioned by the 9th Pharaoh in honor of Amon, the greatest of the ancient Egyptian gods. After our tour of the temple resembling an open-air museum, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight accommodation are on board.

DAY 02: LUXOR – ESNA – EDFU

After breakfast, we depart for our Valley of the Kings tour. After visiting the royal tombs, we will also see the Temple of Hatshepsut, built in memory of the first female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. After touring Hatshepsut’s tomb temple, the oldest among the queen’s tomb temples, we return to our ship for lunch. The ship will then proceed to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay are on board.

DAY 03: EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN

After breakfast, we will tour the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus with the head of a falcon, completed in 57 BC. We will then proceed towards Kom Ombo. Lunch is on board. After the meal, we visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the Crocodile & Falcon Gods, located on the banks of the Nile River. Kom Ombo is the only temple shared by two gods: Horus, the god of goodness, and Sobek, the god of evil. The reliefs inside Kom Ombo were erased by the Copts who later used it as a church. Due to flooding of the Nile and earthquakes, the damaged stones of the temple were reused in other constructions. We then proceed to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay are on board.

DAY 04: ASWAN – ABU SIMBEL – ASWAN

Today we will have an early breakfast packed as a picnic. We will travel to Abu Simbel by private vehicle. Upon arrival, we will tour the magnificent masterpiece of the Abu Simbel Temple. This temple was built by Pharaoh Ramses II to demonstrate his power to enemies and out of love for his wife Nefertari. Carved into the heart of the Simbel mountain, the temple was relocated over a period of 6 years under the leadership of UNESCO to save it from submersion due to the construction of the Aswan Dam. After this enchanting tour, we return to Aswan by private vehicle. Upon arrival in Aswan, we board our ship for lunch. After the meal, our tour continues with the Philae Temple, which was dismantled as part of the UNESCO Nubia Project before the dam construction and moved to Agilkia Island. Transfer back to the ship after the tour. Dinner and overnight stay are on board.

DAY 05: CAIRO

After morning breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures from the ship. We transfer to the airport to take our flight from Aswan to Cairo with our private vehicle waiting for us for the “Giza Pyramids Tour”. Our first stop will be the Keops, Kefren, and Mikerinos pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, named after the pharaohs who built them. These 3 pyramids, built thousands of years ago and still keeping their mysteries, were designed including the Pythagorean triple. These pyramids, built long before Pythagoras, show that the Egyptians had advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After touring the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, which has the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, representing the rising sun and rebirth for the pharaoh. After visiting the “living statue” Sphinx, which has a temple between its paws, we will have lunch. After the meal, we will visit the workshop producing handmade papyrus paper from Egypt’s famous papyrus plant. After the workshop visit, we will tour the Saqqara Pyramid, also known as the Step Pyramid, located in Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital. After touring the Saqqara Pyramid, considered the first large stone monument on Earth, we return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay are at our hotel.

DAY 06: CAIRO

After breakfast, we will tour the old city center of Egypt, one of the oldest civilizations with a history of 7000 years, the Citadel newly built by Salahaddin Ayyubi against the Crusades, the Mohamed Ali Pasha Mosque (Ottoman Governor), and Han El Halil Bazaar. After having lunch at a local restaurant during our tour, we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, which opened magnificently on November 1, 2025. The museum presents a collection of 50,000 artifacts ranging from prehistoric times to the present day, and also displays the personal belongings of Pharaoh Tutankhamun intact. At the end of the tours, free time will be given to explore the city as you wish. We will meet at the time determined by our guide and proceed to the airport transfer.
