DAY 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – CATANIA – ETNA
Guests are requested to meet at Gate 3 of Istanbul Airport, in front of the Turkish Airlines (THY) international counters (counters 1-27), at 04:15 for check-in procedures. We depart for Catania on THY flight TK1393 at 08:10. Arrival in Catania is scheduled for 08:35 local time. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic tour with our waiting vehicle. Afterwards, we start our Etna tour. As we head towards Etna, we have the opportunity to capture magnificent photos of Mount Etna, which embraces us with its vegetation and scenery. Along the way, we will see Silvestri, the second crater located at an altitude of 1,800 meters, on Europe's highest active volcanic mountain, Etna. Don't forget to take some smoking rock fragments as souvenirs! The tour will conclude in the area formed by lava from Mount Etna, accompanied by many scenic spots where we can take photos. Afterward, we return to our hotel.

 

 

DAY 02: SAVOCA – TAORMINA – GIARDINI NAXOS – CATANIA
After breakfast, we begin our full-day tour at the time specified by our guide. On our tour of Savoca, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos, we will visit the locations where the world-famous movie "The Godfather" was filmed. Among the places we will see are Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church. After passing through streets that feel like a movie set, we head to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea and Sicily's most beautiful coastal city. We visit this charming town, known for its breathtaking views, situated at the foot of Mount Tauro, exploring its streets, souvenir shops, and avenues. Afterwards, we move on to Giardini Naxos, famous for its captivating volcanic beach and colorful streets. In this cultural mosaic where Greeks settled in the 6th century BC, followed by Phoenicians and Romans, you can take magnificent photos. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel.

 

DAY 03: SIRACUSA – CATANIA
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for our full-day tour of Siracusa. In Siracusa, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, we visit the Arethusa Fountain, the Cathedral, the Diana Fountain, and the Temple of Apollo. Afterwards, we return to Catania. Places we will see during the panoramic tour of central Catania include the Duomo Cathedral, Fontana dell'Elefante, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Via Etnea. After free time, we transfer to our hotel.
 

 

DAY 04: CATANIA – MALTA / GOZO ISLAND – DWEJRA – T'PINO CHURCH – VICTORIA RABAT – XELENDI – MGARR
After breakfast, we hand over our room keys to the reception, complete our check-out procedures, and head to Catania Airport. We depart for Malta on Air Malta flight KM641 at 07:35, arriving at 08:15. After completing our hotel check-in, we begin our Gozo tour with our guide. We cross from Cirkewwa Port by ferry to Gozo Island. In Gozo, known for its green nature that brings peace, we visit Dwejra, which has hosted films such as Troy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones, followed by T'Pino Church, a place of pilgrimage. We will have the opportunity to taste local products such as honey, carob, liqueur, and cheese. Later, we have free time in the fishing village of Xelendi. In Victoria Rabat, we visit St. George's Basilica and stroll through the streets. At the end of the tour, we return to Malta from Mgarr Port and transfer to our hotel.

 

DAY 05: MOSTA – MDINA – VALETTA (GAME OF THRONES) – MARSAXLOKK
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and board the bus with our luggage. Our day-long tour begins. We visit Santa Maria Assunta Church in Mosta, which features the third largest dome in Europe. Afterwards, we proceed to Mdina, where some scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed. After seeing historical structures such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Carmelite Church, we take a break at Fontanella Cafe. Then, we explore the capital city, Valletta. The final stop is Marsaxlokk Fishing Village, where we enjoy pleasant time amidst colorful boats and a lively market. Afterwards, we transfer to the airport and depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1372 at 19:15. Arrival is at 22:45, marking the end of our tour.
