DAY 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – CATANIA
Guests will meet at the Istanbul Airport Gate 3, in front of the Turkish Airlines (THY) international counters (counters 1-27), at 04:00 for check-in procedures. We depart for Catania on THY flight TK1393 at 07:00. Arrival in Catania is scheduled for 08:25 local time. From there, we proceed to Mount Etna with our waiting vehicle. As we head towards Etna, we have the opportunity to capture magnificent photos of the mountain, which embraces us with its vegetation and scenery. While ascending Europe’s highest active volcano, we will see the second crater, Silvestri, located at an altitude of 1800 meters along the route. Don’t forget to take some smoking rock pieces as souvenirs! Afterwards, we continue our tour through many beautiful landscapes where we can take photos in the area formed by the lava of Mount Etna. From here, we move on to Syracuse. In Syracuse, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, the Arethusa Fountain, the Cathedral, Diana Fountain, and the Temple of Apollo are among the places to visit. After the tour, we proceed to the hotel. Following check-in procedures, you will have free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.

DAY 02: SAVOCA –  TAORMINA – GIARDINI NAXOS – CATANIA
After breakfast, we begin our full-day tour at the time specified in advance by our guide. On our tour of Savoca, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos, we will visit the locations where the world-famous movie “The Godfather” was filmed. Subsequently, Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church are among the places to visit. After passing through streets that look like a movie set, we head to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea and Sicily’s most beautiful coastal city. After visiting this charming city with its incomparable views, its location at the foot of Mount Tauro, its streets, and souvenir shops, we move on to Giardini Naxos, famous for its colorful streets and volcanic beach. You can capture unforgettable moments in this cultural mosaic where Greeks first settled in the 6th century BC, followed by Phoenicians and Romans. After the visit, we return to our hotel.

DAY 03: CATANIA – CEFALU – PALERMO
After breakfast, we complete our departure from the hotel and head towards the center of Catania. During our panoramic city tour, the Duomo Cathedral, Fontana Dell’Elefante, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street are among the places to visit. Afterwards, we arrive in Cefalu. In this charming fishing town located on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, we will enjoy pleasant moments in the historic cathedral dating back to the 12th century, the fishermen’s gate, and unique streets. After the tour, we arrive at our hotel in Palermo.

DAY 04: MONREALE – PALERMO
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for our Monreale tour. We visit the Monreale Cathedral, the most important structure of Byzantine architecture in Sicily. The cathedral, one of the masterpieces of Byzantine art with its 6500 m² glass mosaics, is also considered one of the best examples of Norman period art. Afterwards, we return to the center of Palermo. Politeama Square, Quattro Canti Square, Via Roma, and Via Liberta streets are among the places to visit. Overnight stay at our hotel.

DAY 05: ERICE – CASTELLAMMARE DEL GOLFO – PALERMO – ISTANBUL AIRPORT

After breakfast, we complete our departure from the hotel and head towards Erice, a typical medieval city with its walls, stone houses with courtyards, and streets, at the time determined by our guide. During the free time given here, you will feel as if you are in the Middle Ages. Afterwards, we move on to Castellammare del Golfo. This small but impressive town of Trapani stands out with its historical texture and natural beauty. Its long beach and Aragonese Castle are among the places to visit. After the tour, we proceed to Palermo Airport. After passport and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1376 at 19:35. Arrival at Istanbul Airport is at 23:05 local time. End of our tour.
