Thessaloniki & Kavala Tour Every Friday Departure 2026

Day 1: Istanbul – Ipsala

We begin our journey by welcoming our guests from the designated locations. Following the Tekirdağ - Keşan - Ipsala route, we arrive at the Ipsala Turkish border.

Day 2: Thessaloniki

Arrival in Thessaloniki in the morning and panoramic city tour; the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Fair Square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, the Cathedral of Saint Demetrius, the largest cathedral in Greece, the Statue of Alexander the Great, Hamza Bey Mosque, the statues of E. Venezelo and P. Konstantin, and Vardar, Makedonia, Aristotle, and Eleftherios squares are among the places to be seen. At the end of the tour, we visit the house of the Great Leader Atatürk and settle into our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may participate in an optional Greek tavern experience, with delicious food, Greek music, and unlimited entertainment accompanied by bouzouki. (50 EUR)

Day 3: Thessaloniki - Kavala – Komotini – Alexandroupoli – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Kavala. Following a journey of approximately 2–3 hours, a panoramic city tour in Kavala. The Aqueducts, Port, Castle, 19th-century Neoclassical buildings, Pangia, the Old and New City, Acropolis, Lighthouse, Ag. Nicholas and Theodoro Kimissi churches, and the almshouse and statue of Mehmet Ali Pasha of Kavala will be seen, followed by free time for lunch. After meeting, the return journey begins. We travel to the Ipsala border gate, passing panoramically through the cities of Xanthi, Komotini, and Alexandroupoli. Guests who wish may join the Porto Lagos tour, which will be additionally organized by our guide. (10 EUR / Our tour takes place if the entire group participates.) Following passport and customs procedures, we travel to Istanbul via the Keşan – Tekirdağ – Silivri highway. After a free meatball break in Tekirdağ, the program ends with arrival at the starting points in Istanbul in the evening.
