Sofia & Plovdiv Tour 1 Night 3 Days

Day 1 | Istanbul – Sofia

We depart at 22:00 from Kadıköy Marriage Office, at 22:30 in front of Mecidiyeköy Square/Bambi Cafe, at 23:00 in front of İncirli Ömür Plaza, at 23:30 in front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park AVM, and at 23:59 in front of Silivri Vega AVM. (Please be present at the specified locations no later than 15 minutes before the departure times.) After approximately 3 hours of travel, upon arrival at Kapıkule border crossing, we complete customs and passport procedures, then proceed to Bulgaria and head towards the capital city of Sofia.

Day 2 | Sofia

Upon our morning arrival in Sofia, we will take a panoramic city tour visiting St. Nedelya Church, Rotunda Church, Russian Church, Hagia Sophia Church, Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Prime Minister's Office and Parliament buildings, Sofia University, the National Palace of Culture, and the Banyabaşı Mosque designed by Mimar Sinan; Serdika (Tolerance) Square is also among the sights. Afterwards, we provide free time until 14:30. Then we transfer to our hotel, check-in, and have free time. Guests who wish may join the Shopping Tour organized at 15:30. (€20). We begin this tour with the world-famous Jumbo Store. In this store, which offers hundreds of thousands of varieties ranging from needles to threads, from top to toe, including toys, home accessories, and car accessories, we give a 1-hour shopping break. Afterwards, we move to Metro Store, where electronic/cleaning/alcohol/textile products are sold economically. After another 1-hour shopping break here, we return to our hotel around 18:30 and conclude our tour. In the evening, guests who wish may optionally join the Bulgarian Night, which features a live folklor show with traditional local music and dance. (€65 | Includes 3-course Bulgarian meal & 20cl Wine or Bulgarian Rakı or Non-Alcoholic Drink at a traditional restaurant!) This event, open to guests wishing to experience Bulgarian culture and cuisine up close, starts at 20:00 with departure from the hotel and ends at 23:00 at the hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Sofia.

Day 3 | Sofia – Plovdiv (Philippopolis) – Istanbul

After breakfast, we depart for Plovdiv at 08:30. After an enjoyable journey of approximately 2 hours, upon arrival in Plovdiv, one of Europe's oldest cities with an 8,000-year history, which was named "Filibe" during the Ottoman Empire period, we will take a panoramic city tour where we will have the opportunity to see traces of Byzantine, Greek, and Ottoman heritage. The Friday Mosque, Sveta Bogoroditsa Church, Ancient Theatre, and Old Plovdiv will be visited. We will provide free time for lunch and shopping on Batenberg Street, the city's most active shopping and entertainment center. During free time, guests who wish may optionally join the Thrace Valley Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting organized additionally (€45). On this tour, we embark on an unforgettable wine tour in the Thrace Valley, one of the world's oldest wine regions. In this magnificent valley, Bulgaria's most important and largest wine region, you will find a vineyard blending both history and modern technology. 🥇 Award-Winning Wines: Wines produced by blending local red varieties Mavrud and Rubin have won numerous prestigious international awards. 🍷 Tasting Experience: We will taste 5 local wines accompanied by appetizers through visits to the fermentation room, the cellar where wine matures in oak barrels, the enoteca, and the wine tasting room. With this unique wine tour, you will experience the magic of winemaking and add unforgettable flavors to your palate. After this tour, we pick up guests remaining in central Plovdiv and depart for Istanbul. After completing passport and customs procedures at Kapıkule border crossing, entering Turkey, and after an approximately 3-hour journey, we arrive in Istanbul and conclude our tour.
