It was built as a small fortress in 1780. During World War II, with the German entry into Czechoslovakia, this fortress was converted into a concentration camp. Jews, Roma people, and anyone who opposed the Nazi system were held here under the name of a labor camp. After our tour, our first stop will be Dresden, the capital of the Saxony state located on German soil, known for its rich cultural heritage and impressive architecture. Among the places we will visit are the impressive Baroque Church Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, Brühl Terrace stretching along the Elbe River where we can observe the city panoramically, and the Royal Palace.
