Rome

ROME – (POMPEII – SORRENTO)

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and, for those guests who wish, we set off for the extra Pompeii-Sorrento tour (120 €). We head to the ancient city of Pompeii, located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius and buried under ash when Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. During the Roman Empire, Pompeii was an important center of trade and culture. The city was a prosperous settlement where agriculture, trade, and art flourished. However, as a result of the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius, the city was suddenly buried under a layer of lava and ash. This disaster froze Pompeii's daily life at the time and turned it into an open-air museum preserved to this day. After our visit to Pompeii, we head to Sorrento, the magnificent coastal town south of Naples Bay. We head to Sorrento, the magnificent coastal town south of Naples Bay. Sorrento is surrounded by stunning views of Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius. The city sits atop cliffs overlooking the sea and is famous for its picturesque beaches, lemon groves, and olive orchards. Piazza Tasso, the famous square at the heart of Sorrento, is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops. After seeing the Duomo di Sorrento (Sorrento Cathedral) and enjoying the picture-perfect bay, we set off for Rome, the capital of Italy. Rome

ROME

After breakfast, departure for Rome. Upon arrival, we will undertake our panoramic Rome tour. Our guests who wish may join the extra Roman Monuments Tour (45 €).  Rome, once a magical city that shone with eternal splendor and was shaped by the winds of history, has hosted the magnificence of its emperors, the courage of gladiators, and the highest forms of art. On this tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned. Castel Sant'Angelo was originally built by Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum and later converted into a castle. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was used as a kind of prison and papal fortress. Another place we will see in Rome is the Colosseum, in the heart of the city, carrying the spirit of ancient times. In this massive arena, brave gladiators and wild animals once engaged in epic battles amid the cheers of the crowd. After our Colosseum visit, as we approach the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), made famous by the film La Dolce Vita, the melody of water echoes among the dazzling sculptures. When you make a wish and toss a coin into the fountain, the magic of Rome will never let you go again. For they say that whoever comes here once will surely return one day. The Temple of Hadrian, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps, which consist of 135 steps and feature the sunken ship fountain, are among the places to be seen. In the evening, return to our hotel and free hours for rest.

Florence

You will be captivated by the charm of this peaceful town, where history and nature intertwine at every step, as if you had stepped out of a fairy tale shaped around an elegant castle rising toward the sky, with its stone streets whispering of the past. The lake, resembling the bluest mirror under the sky, is almost like a gateway opening into a world of fairy tales with its tranquility and beauty. The Papal Palace, located in the heart of the town, is a symbol of fairy-tale beauty and historical splendor. For centuries, popes found peace and rest in this magical place. Its gardens and pathways filled with colorful flowers will make you feel as if you are inside a dream. Nemi is famous for its strawberry fields that shine like red jewels. In the evening, return to our hotel in Florence and free time to rest.

Florence

FLORANSA – (SIENA – SAN GIMIGNANO – PISA)

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the Toscana (Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa) tour (120 €), which will be organized as an extra by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Pisa, the romantic Italian city that smells of history. Of course, the first thing that comes to everyone's mind is the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This world-famous tower, with its tilted stance, is located in Piazza dei Miracoli, the Square of Miracles. This square dazzles not only with the tower but also with the magnificent Duomo Cathedral and Baptistery made of white marble. Each showcases the artistic and architectural richness of medieval Italy. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the adjacent Piazza dei Miracoli, we head to San Gimignano. When you step into the medieval town of San Gimignano, the first thing that catches your eye will be the towers. While there were once 72 towers, only 14 remain today. These towers were built to show the power and wealth of the old noble families. Piazza del Duomo is the center of the town's social and religious life. Here stands the San Gimignano Cathedral, built in the 12th century. Inside, you can see magnificent frescoes reflecting the spirit of medieval Italy. Right next to the cathedral is the Town Hall (Palazzo del Popolo). Our next stop is Piazza della Cisterna. This enchanting square takes its name from an old water cistern located in its center. The square, with its stone buildings and historic structures, gives you the feeling of walking through a time tunnel. Here, you can browse small shops selling local products and handmade souvenirs, and taste one of the world's most delicious ice creams at the famous gelato shop on the corner of the square (Gelateria Dondoli). After our tour, we head to Siena. When you arrive in Siena, where neighborhood culture still continues, the first place we will see is Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city. This wide and sloping square is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world. In the center of the square is a marble fountain called Fonte Gaia. The square hosts the famous horse race Palio di Siena, held twice a year. This race is an exciting event in which horses from 17 different contrade (neighborhoods) compete. Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena) is also among the places to see. This magnificent Gothic structure is covered in white and green marble. As you walk through Siena's narrow and winding streets, history greets you at every corner. As you walk through the city, you may occasionally see a wall fresco or an old stone structure. In the evening, return to our hotel in Florence and free hours to rest.

This basilica is famous for its golden mosaics and Byzantine-style architecture. The famous Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri) is also located here, where prisoners took one last look at the city view as they were taken to their cells. On our city tour, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge's Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of Giorgio Maggiore are among the sights to be seen. When you arrive in Venice, the first thing that catches your attention is, of course, the waterways. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Venice and free time to rest.

After our Lake Garda tour, we head to Milan. Milan is a dynamic city in northern Italy that is the center of fashion, design, and the business world. The Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is one of Milan’s most iconic structures and a perfect example of Gothic architecture. This cathedral is the fifth largest church in the world and one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The cathedral’s exterior is made of white marble and decorated with intricate carvings. On the front facade of the cathedral, there are countless statues and carvings. The most striking statue is the golden Madonnina statue at the very top of the cathedral. This statue is considered the city’s patron saint. Right next to the Duomo is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This magnificent shopping gallery is famous for its glass سقف and mosaic floors.
