Upon our arrival at 10:00 local time, our Basel city tour begins with our waiting vehicle. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that combines both modern and historical elements; although small in area, it holds many treasures within. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including the Basel Minster, which houses the tomb of the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus from the Netherlands, the main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Roi. After our tour, we proceed to Strasbourg, one of France's most beautiful cities and the pearl of the Alsace region. While exploring Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe's largest cobbled medieval quarter. With its fairy-tale-like nature and historic structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and numerous works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Additionally, Strasbourg holds historical significance as the birthplace of the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" and presents itself as a city where French architecture blends with Alsatian culture. During our city tour, we will also visit Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsatian houses. After our tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historic buildings, Gothic-style churches, and vibrant houses. While strolling through Colmar's streets, which have been remarkably well-preserved to this day, we will visit St. Martin Cathedral built entirely of pink stone, Petite Venise (Little Venice) with its small canals reminiscent of Italy's Venice, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar's oldest houses, and Maison des Têtes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a town dating back to the Middle Ages. Located in the Moselle Wine Region, surrounded by low red sandstone hills covered with vineyards along the Moselle River, one of the tributaries of the Rhine, our city tour in Trier includes Porta Nigra, the largest Roman city gate standing north of the Alps; Roman ruins within the UNESCO World Heritage Site; St. Peter's Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady; the Constantine Basilica; and the birthplace of Karl Marx, the revolutionary thinker considered the father of scientific socialism. After our visit to Trier, we head to Remich, a town known as the most affordable shopping point during our tour. Finally, we visit Schengen, the point where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet, where the agreement on free movement abolishing passport controls between European Union member states was signed. Upon our arrival in Paris, the places we will visit include Charles de Gaulle and the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, the Louvre Museum and Pyramid, Place de l'Etoile, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais Exhibition Halls, Place de la Concorde and the Obelisk, the French Parliament Building, the 3rd Alexandre Bridge, the Seine River, Napoleon's Tomb, and the Eiffel Tower. Our tour's first stop is the Eiffel Tower, the city's iconic landmark visited by millions of tourists every year. You will have the chance to ascend to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a panoramic view of Paris. Next, we embark on a cruise along the Seine River, which divides Paris in two. After viewing the historic monuments on both banks of the river, we take the cable car up to Montmartre, the highest hill in Paris. This hill, where important artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent van Gogh, and Jean Marais left their mark, features the Sacré-Cœur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) as the first site to visit. After admiring this structure up close, we pause at Place du Tertre, where you can shop and have your portrait painted. Following this break, we visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of Paris's skyline. Notre Dame was built between 1137 and 1180 under the orders of King Louis VII to showcase Paris's political, economic, and cultural power to the world. After visiting this beautiful city, we proceed to Gent, another city where time seems to stand still. Founded at the confluence of the Schelde and Lys rivers, Gent boasts a history spanning 1,400 years and was one of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Middle Ages. Famous for its medieval monuments and university, after our tour here, we head to Amsterdam. After our tour, we proceed to Düsseldorf, another major German city in culture, art, and industry, where our city tour includes the revolving restaurant Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath — the birthplace of many of Germany's most important thinkers, the shopping street Königsallee, and Horfgarten with its lush green areas. Then, we head to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1528 at 18:15. Arrival at 23:45 local time marks the end of our tour.
