COSTA SMERALDA WITH IBIZA, WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN & SICILY - 2026

We will meet at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning, followed by departure for Nice on Turkish Airlines flight TK1813 at 07:10. Upon arrival in Nice at 09:20 local time, we will transfer to Savona port where our ship COSTA SMERALDA will depart. After completing ship check-in and passport procedures, we will settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:30. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

 

Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the guide's optional "Marseille City Tour & Aix-en-Provence Tour". Starting our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, we will first visit the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. Following this visit, some of the places to see include Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we will go to Aix-en-Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous St. Saviour's Cathedral dating back to the 12th century, known for its Romanesque front facade and covered arched walkway. Later, during a pleasant walk in the old part of the city, you will see the ancient caravanserais and the Mazarino district designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino in the 17th century. Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the optional "Barcelona City Tour" organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. Places we will see include La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia street where Gaudi's houses have been converted into a street museum, and his masterpiece Sagrada Familia. During the tour, we will go up Montjuic hill to take scenic photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Our ship will dock at Ibiza port at 12:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can get information from our guide to swim in the magnificent beaches of Ibiza, shop, and eat. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

 

On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can enjoy the ship's open and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Others can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment offered in dozens of bars. Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the optional "Palermo & Cefalu Tour" organized by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, this town is a place both for shopping and to fully experience the spirit of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during the tour are the cathedral left by the Normans and the ancient laundry. After free time, we will return to Palermo and take a tour introducing the city. Then we visit Monreale Monastery. We see the mosaic decorations depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments covering a total area of 6340 m². Then we return to the ship. Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the optional "Rome City Tour" organized by our guide. On this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey by bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic tour by bus. Among the places to see are Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Theatre of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, and Forum areas. Then we explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Among the places to see are Pantheon Square, Navona Square, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps, where we end our tour and take a shopping break. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

 

Our ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete the ship disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. We travel to Nice Airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. After arriving at the airport and completing check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1816 at 19:25. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at 23:25 local time.
