FLORENCE – (PORTOFINO – PISA)

After breakfast, we begin our Portofino-Pisa tour. Our first stop will be Portofino, one of the most popular and charming seaside towns on the Italian Riviera. This small yet exceptionally elegant coastal town, which welcomes famous artists, film stars, and distinguished travelers from all over the world, resembles an open-air painting with its pastel-colored houses, charming harbor where elegant boats are moored, and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Genoa. You can take a walk through its narrow streets, enjoy an espresso break at the stylish cafés along the harbor, and capture this unique beauty, unchanged for centuries, through your camera lens.  Following Portofino, our route takes us to Pisa, one of the most iconic masterpieces of history and architecture. We will have the opportunity to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, considered one of the seven wonders of the world and astonishing travelers for centuries, up close and take memorable photographs with it. FLORENCE – ROME

After breakfast, we begin our panoramic city tour of Florence. Florence holds a unique significance in the world’s cultural heritage as the birthplace and development center of the Renaissance. The city witnessed great advances in the fields of art, science, and philosophy. Under the patronage of the Medici family, great artists and scientists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Brunelleschi worked here. In Florence, which is virtually an open-air art gallery, sights to see include the Arno River, which divides Florence in two; the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, famous for its jewelers; Palazzo Vecchio; Piazza della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, among the masterpieces of the Renaissance; Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo), featuring the third-highest dome in Italy; and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. Following our panoramic city tour of Florence, we depart for Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, transfer to your hotel and free time to relax.

Rome

ROME (ROME LANDMARKS TOUR)

After breakfast, depart for Rome. Once a magical city that shone with endless splendor and was shaped by the winds of history, Rome has been home to the grandeur of its emperors, the bravery of gladiators, and the highest forms of art. During this tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, from the outside. Castel Sant'Angelo was originally built as a mausoleum by the Roman Emperor Hadrian and was later transformed into a fortress. During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it was used as a kind of prison and papal fortress. Another place we will see in Rome is the Colosseum, located in the heart of the city and carrying the spirit of ancient times. In this enormous arena, brave gladiators and wild animals once engaged in epic battles to the cheers of the crowds. After viewing the Colosseum from the outside, as we approach the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), made famous by the film La Dolce Vita, the melody of the water echoes among the dazzling sculptures. The Roman Forum, the social, commercial, and religious center of the period; the Temple of Hadrian; the Pantheon; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps and featuring the Barcaccia Fountain, are among the places to be seen. Afterwards, we depart for the famous St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. Upon arrival, free time to visit the square. The obelisk in the center of the square and the columns surrounding it will impress you. While walking around the square, you can see the Apostolic Palace and the famous window from which the Pope prays on Sundays. In the evening, return to our hotel in Rome and enjoy free time to relax.

Rome

ROME (NEMI – CASTEL GANDOLFO  OUTLET) – BOLOGNA

Just a few steps from the town lies another natural wonder: Lake Nemi, reflecting the sky like a blue mirror, is almost like a gateway to a fairy-tale world with its tranquility and beauty. Located in the heart of the town, the Papal Palace is a symbol of enchanting beauty and historical grandeur. For centuries, popes have found peace and rest in this magical place. With its gardens and pathways filled with colorful flowers, you will feel as though you are in a dream. Nemi is famous for its strawberry fields, which shine like red jewels. After breakfast, we depart for Milan. Upon arrival in Milan, we begin our panoramic tour of the city. Milan is a dynamic city located in northern Italy, known as the center of fashion, design, and business. The Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is one of Milan's most iconic structures and an excellent example of Gothic architecture. This cathedral is the fifth largest church in the world and one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The exterior facade of the cathedral is made of white marble and is adorned with intricate carvings. The front facade features countless statues and carvings. The most striking statue is the golden Madonnina at the very top of the cathedral. This statue is considered the patron saint of the city.
