ISTANBUL – MARRAKECH
We meet three hours before our flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After completing baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Marrakech on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, we begin our city tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. Marrakech, one of Morocco's most characteristic cities, is also known as the "Red City" due to its red-toned buildings. During our city tour, we explore Marrakech's most important landmarks: the Koutoubia Minaret and Jemaa el-Fna Square. We view the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, a symbol of Marrakech. Then, we proceed to Jemaa el-Fna Square, the heart of the city's social life. This square takes on a different atmosphere at different times of the day; it is one of Marrakech's liveliest spots, featuring street performers, traditional shows, snake charmers, and open-air restaurants. After our city tour, we transfer to our hotel and settle into our rooms. The rest of the day is free time for relaxation or exploring the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we head to Essaouira on the Blue of the Atlantic: Mellah Jewish Quarter, Portuguese Fortress, and its famous blue fishing boats. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Essaouira has historically developed as an important port and trading center. The Portuguese influence is clearly evident in the city's past, and its former name, Mogador, also appears in historical records. During our visit to Essaouira, the Mellah Jewish Quarter, the Portuguese Fortress, and the renowned fishing harbor with its blue boats are among the places to see. The old town's streets, which intersect at right angles, give Essaouira a distinct and airy appearance compared to other historic cities in Morocco. The city has also attracted the attention of the film world as the City of Cinema: it served as a filming location for Othello and Game of Thrones. Various productions, including Orson Welles' film Othello and the series Game of Thrones, have made use of Essaouira and its surroundings. After our tour, we depart for Marrakech. Transfer to our hotel and free time to relax. Dinner and overnight accommodation at our hotel.
MARRAKECH – MAJORELLE GARDENS – FILM STUDIOS – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we continue our tour in Marrakech. As one of the major trade centers of North Africa for centuries, Marrakech has been a meeting point for different cultures and stands out with its unique urban fabric where art and architecture intertwine. Traditional life in the historic Medina district remains vibrant to this day. One of the first stops of the day is the Jardin Majorelle: The Meeting Point of Greenery and Art, the Work of Jacques Majorelle and Yves Saint Laurent. Created by French painter and designer Jacques Majorelle, the garden has become one of the city's iconic landmarks with its exotic plants, cacti, and distinctive architecture. We then take a walk through the garden, which was later purchased and restored by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, and find time to take photos. Next, we continue our journey toward Ouarzazate. Before reaching the city, we visit Ait Benhaddou: The Adobe City of Cinema, Filming Location of Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. This historic settlement, notable for its traditional adobe architecture, was once an important stop on caravan routes. Today, it stands out as a plateau familiar to us from globally renowned productions such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Alexander, Babylon, and Game of Thrones. Afterwards, we visit Hollywood’s Address in Morocco: Atlas Film Studios. The desert and mountain landscapes around Ouarzazate and its surroundings have made the region highly suitable for international film productions. After our tours, we transfer to our hotel in Ouarzazate. Free time. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
OUARZAZATE – SAHARA DESERT
After breakfast, we head from the Atlas Mountains to the Golden Sultanate of the Sahara: a journey through Todra Gorge and into the Sahara Desert. Along the way, passing through Tinghir, we witness breathtaking landscapes where the Atlas Mountains meet the desert terrain. On our route, we see Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s natural wonders, and the region’s traditional irrigation channels. We also pass through the M'Gouna area, renowned especially for rose production. Continuing our journey, we arrive at our lodge or camp in the Sahara Desert for sunset over the golden sands and an unforgettable night under the stars. After settling in, we have free time to watch the sunset against the dunes. In the evening, away from city lights, we have the opportunity to gaze at the stars beneath the Sahara’s crystal-clear sky. For guests wishing to witness sunrise early in the morning, an unforgettable experience awaits with panoramic desert views. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
SAHARA DESERT – MIDELT – IFRANE – FES
After breakfast, we begin our journey from the desert to the Atlas Mountains: heading towards Fes via Ziz Valley and Midelt. Along our route, we stop for a photo break in the impressive Ziz Valley. Then, continuing through the Atlas Mountains, we reach the town of Midelt. Here, we take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. The next stop on our journey is Ifrane, Morocco's "Little Switzerland": with a European flair. Located within the Atlas Mountains, this city has a distinct appearance compared to other Moroccan cities due to its European-style architecture and high altitude. In winter months, Ifrane becomes an important ski resort, which is why it is known as "Morocco's Little Switzerland." After our coffee break in Ifrane, we head towards Fes. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
FES – CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER
After breakfast, we depart for our city tour of Fes: The Historical Fabric: Bab-el Makhzen, the Mellah Jewish Quarter, and the Historic Medina. As one of Morocco's cultural and historical centers, Fes first welcomes us at the Bab-el Makhzen gate. After this monumental entrance to the royal palace, we walk through the historic Mellah Jewish Quarter. Our tour continues in Fes' historic Medina district. Among its narrow streets, we visit Al Quaraouiyine University, historic madrasas, and Nejjarine Square. In the souks where traditional Moroccan crafts are kept alive, we encounter jewelry and copper products, handmade ceramics, and various local specialties. The historic tanneries located near the Fes River, where leather processing is still carried out using traditional methods, will also be an important stop on our city tour. After visiting Fes, we turn our route toward Chefchaouen, the Blue City: Blue Streets at the Foot of the Rif Mountains. In this world-renowned town nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains and known for its blue-painted houses, we stroll through the streets of the historic medina. With blue tones dominating Chefchaouen, we will have free time for shopping for guests who wish. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tangier. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
TANJA – RABAT – CASABLANCA
After breakfast, we depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to explore the beauties of the Royal City: Kasbah Oudaya, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Located on the banks of the Bou Regreg River, Rabat combines historical landmarks with modern urban life. During our city tour, we visit Kasbah Oudaya, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After touring Rabat, we leave the city and head toward Casablanca, the Pearl of the Atlantic, visiting Mohammed V Square, the Hassan II Mosque, and the Corniche. Upon arrival in Casablanca, we begin our city tour. Thanks to its location on the Atlantic coast, Casablanca has historically been an important port city and is now one of Morocco’s main centers for trade and economy. The city also holds a significant place in the world of cinema. The film "Casablanca," which captures the atmosphere of World War II, has immortalized the city's name in cinematic history. During our city tour, we will see Mohammed V Square, the Hassan II Mosque, Anfa and Zerktouni Boulevards, and the Corniche along the Atlantic coast. Additionally, Rick's Café, Casablanca's famous cinematic landmark, will be viewed panoramically. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
CASABLANCA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we check out of our rooms. At the time announced by our guide, we bid farewell to Morocco: we depart from our hotel for the return journey from Casablanca to Istanbul. After completing baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures at Casablanca Airport, we begin our return flight to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Following our tour that covered different cities of Morocco, the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert, historic medinas, and the Atlantic coast, our tour concludes upon our arrival at Istanbul Airport.
