ISTANBUL – MARRAKECH
We meet approximately three hours before our flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Marrakech, one of the most colorful cities in Morocco, on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we transfer to our city center hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport to explore the atmosphere of the Red City: Marrakech, one of the most colorful and characteristic cities of Morocco. After checking into the hotel, you can spend the rest of the day resting or exploring the atmosphere of Marrakech. Overnight accommodation at our hotel in Marrakech.
MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, our journey begins to the enchanting port city of Essaouira on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Essaouira is a unique city that blends Morocco's traditional fabric with the free and artistic atmosphere of the Atlantic coast. Throughout history, the city has been influenced by various cultures and is also known by its Portuguese name, Mogador. During our tour through the city's characteristic blue-and-white texture, we explore its highlights: the Historic Face of Essaouira—the Jewish Quarter Mellah, the Portuguese Fortress, and the Fishing Port with its Blue Boats. The spacious streets intersecting at right angles in the old city center, along with traditional shops and art workshops, reflect Essaouira's unique spirit. We also witness the city's special place in the world of cinema. As a filming location for Othello and Game of Thrones, Essaouira has become a natural set for many productions thanks to its natural beauty and historical atmosphere. After the tour, we return to Marrakech and transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is free time to relax. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
MARRAKECH – MAJORELLE GARDENS – FILM STUDIOS – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we begin exploring the colorful world of Marrakech. Among the highlights of our city tour are Marrakech's iconic landmarks: the Koutoubia Minaret and Jemaa el-Fna Square, known as the Heart of Marrakech. At any time of day, the square transforms into a different atmosphere, where street performances, snake charmers, open-air restaurants serving traditional flavors, and bustling city life coexist. As we wander through Marrakech's historic medina, we feel the traditional way of life that the city has preserved for centuries. Thanks to its strategic position on African trade routes, the city has brought together diverse cultures and the vibrant colors of Africa, becoming a source of inspiration for artists, designers, and travelers from the past to the present. Our next stop is the meeting point of Greenery and Art: Jardin Majorelle, the masterpiece of Jacques Majorelle and Yves Saint Laurent. This stunning garden, created by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later associated with Yves Saint Laurent, offers unforgettable moments for photography enthusiasts with its exotic plants, distinctive architecture, and unique color palette. Leaving Marrakech, we head towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, we await the ancient village of Ait Benhaddou, the adobe city of cinema: filming location for Gladiator, Babylon, Alexander the Great, The Mummy, Jewel of the Nile, The Call, and Game of Thrones. With its earth-toned traditional structures, this historic town resembles a film set and has been one of the most notable locations in the film industry from the past to the present. Continuing to follow the captivating atmosphere of the film world, we visit Atlas Film Studios, Hollywood's address in Morocco. Here, we have the opportunity to better understand why Ouarzazate is called "Africa's Hollywood." After our tour, we check into our hotel in Ouarzazate, which has hosted many famous film productions. The rest of the day is free for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
OUARZAZATE – TINGHIR – SAHARA DESERT
After breakfast, we set off towards the impressive desert landscape of southern Morocco. Today's journey becomes an experience in itself. As we travel with endless desert views on one side and the majestic silhouette of the Atlas Mountains on the other, we witness the changing geography of Morocco. Along our route from the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara: traditional qanats, Todra Gorge, and the Rose City of M'Gouna, we explore the region's natural and cultural richness. The area's natural beauty and traditional way of life add a unique atmosphere to our journey. At the end of the day, we reach our camp or hotel in the Sahara Desert for the experience of "Sunset in the Heart of the Desert and Night Under the Stars." After settling in, we have a wonderful opportunity to explore the surroundings and watch the sunset from atop the sand dunes. We especially recommend not missing the early morning sunrise and capturing the Sahara's unique scenery in photos. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our facility in the Sahara Desert.
SAHARA DESERT – MIDELT – IFRANE – FES
After breakfast, we depart from the Sahara Desert and head towards Fes. In the first part of the day, we continue our journey through the panoramic views of the Ziz Valley: from the desert landscape to the Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to capture the region's scenic beauty in photos. We stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Midelt on our route. Then, we proceed towards the geography where the Atlas Mountains rise. One of the day's highlights is Ifrane, Morocco's "Little Switzerland": European-style architecture and mountain atmosphere. With its architecture reminiscent of European cities, orderly streets, and surrounding natural beauty, Ifrane has a very different appearance from other cities in the country and is also an important ski resort. After our coffee break here, we continue our journey to Fes. Upon arrival in Fes, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
FES – CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER
After breakfast, we begin exploring Fes, one of Morocco's cultural capitals. During our city tour, notable stops include Fes' Royal and Jewish Heritage: the magnificent Bab-el Makhzen Gate and the historic Mellah Quarter. Upon stepping into Fes' world-famous medina, a completely different world awaits us, characterized by narrow, labyrinth-like streets. Within the historic medina, we discover important examples of traditional Moroccan architecture through Fes' Cultural Treasures: the Madrasas, Al Quaraouiyine University, and Nejjarine Square. In the souks where traditional crafts are kept alive, you can closely observe jewelry and copperwork unique to Morocco, and witness masters demonstrating traditional production techniques in ceramic workshops. One of Fes' most characteristic highlights is Centennial Leather Tanning: Traditional Production in Historic Tanneries, where we get up close with the city's deep-rooted craft culture. After our visit to Fes, we turn our route toward Chefchaouen, one of Morocco's most photogenic cities. The Thousand Shades of Blue: Chefchaouen's Azure Streets, Houses, and Stairs allow us to explore one of Morocco's most unique settlements. Known as the "Blue City," during our walk through its maze-like azure streets, we discover the town's distinctive atmosphere. After the tour, guests who wish to shop will have free time. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel in Tangier. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
TANJA – RABAT – CASABLANCA
After breakfast, we head toward Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Located on the banks of the Bou Regreg River, Rabat has a unique character compared to other Moroccan cities, with its expansive green spaces and historic fabric. As part of our city tour, we explore key landmarks of the Royal City: Kasbah Oudaya, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Leaving behind Rabat’s historic atmosphere, we proceed toward Casablanca, Morocco’s economic and commercial capital. When Casablanca is mentioned, one of the first things that come to mind is undoubtedly the Hollywood film of the same name. The film, which brought the atmosphere of World War II into cinematic history, played a significant role in establishing the city’s global fame. Today, as one of Morocco’s largest cities and an important port city in Africa, we begin our city tour of Casablanca. Among the panoramic sights we will see are Casablanca’s iconic landmarks: Mohammed V Square, the Hassan II Mosque, Anfa and Zerktouni Boulevards, and the Corniche along the Atlantic coast. For film enthusiasts, Rick’s Café, inspired by the movie Casablanca and one of the city’s iconic stops, will be a highlight of our tour. This venue was created drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of the Casablanca film and has gradually become one of the city’s symbols. After our city tour, we check into our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
CASABLANCA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we check out of our rooms and leave the hotel at the time announced by our guide for the airport transfer. Following baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures at Casablanca Airport, our return journey to Istanbul begins on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. With our arrival in Istanbul, our tour concludes.
